Today started with planning to leave Golden early to avoid the weather and head to Ouray Colorado. Only a few exits down the road Roy had to pull off the exit because his motorcycle was getting hot. So off we went to another Harley shop to get it checked out. We arrived at Avalanche Harley before they even opened but they took us in to look at the bike. Avalanche Harley just recently got a new facility and it is quite amazing. The people there were very personable they showed us around, got us something to drink and made us feel comfortable. When they were looking over the bike we decided to go to Coors Roy rode on the back of Kims trike and we headed to the Coors brewery for a tour. After the tour we called to find out if the bike was ready yet and found out that it had water problems. This was the same issue that Jim and Carmen had earlier in the trip. The motorcycle was repaired and we headed out to Ouray after putting on our motorcycle rain gear on. We had a lot of rain on the way and just when you think you would get out of it the sun would tease you for a moment and then it would start raining again. The temperature dropped to 50° making it cold and rainy. Even though it was cold and rainy the scenery was amazing I saw several animals along the way deer, elk and dogs. We finally arrived in the town is over about 730 checked into our hotel the rivers edge. We quickly scramblied to get ready for dinner, because this town shuts down at 9 PM. Most of the store signs say the hours are from 9 AM to close but they don't say when close is. I guess it is when they decide to close. We ended up eating at the outlaw restaurant which was extremely good. Then went back to the hotel and Jeff and I got in the hot tub beside the river before going to bed. Beautiful evening We traveled 347 miles today
